About The Olympics

The Olympics are sports/events played by men and women. They are held every four years in a different country. There's a winter olympics for winter events and a summer olympics for summer events. Every country can participate in the olympics. The olympics show who the best athletes are at a sport/event in the world. The best athlete at a sport gets a gold medal. The second to best athlete at a sport gets a silver medal and the third to best athlete at a sport gets a bronze medal.

About the Paralympics

The paralympics are for athletes who have disabilities.  But they do the same things that a regular Olympic athlete does.  They are more about theparticipants' athletic achievements than their disability.  The sports they play are bocca, goalball, powerlifting, wheelchair rugby and others.
